Year 4 the Goal Ball players of the future

On Monday 20th November, Year 4 enjoyed an afternoon of Goal Ball, a sport that is primarily played in the Paralympics for those that have a visual impairment.

The children really immersed themselves in the sport, and showed some amazing listening skills which are really important in a sport where blindfolds are compulsory for all competitors regardless of their visual impairment.

Some of the children are keen to take this further and get involved locally in the sport which is fantastic, and who knows we may have some future stars of the sport, which can be played up to elite level by any child.

Well done Year 4, I was a very proud teacher.
